Prestbury Methodist Church is a growing centre for Christians of all ages. There are two services on a Sunday: 10:30am and 6:45pm with family service on every 2nd Sunday of the month. A crèche, junior church and youth group, all meet weekly. Services include communion once a month, drama, contributions from the young people, a music group and intercession prayers, written by members of the church. 

At present plans are being finalised for a new, larger church building, in response to the growing number of members. This is to be built on a site next the village hall in Prestbury. 

There are many church activities throughout the year, including bible study, ‘quiet evenings', church weekends away, (this year’s main one was to Great Hucklow and others are planned to ‘Spring Harvest’ and ‘MAYC’ for the youth group) and a Concert in the autumn. 

A monthly church magazine - Contact, is distributed to members of the church and many people in the village. Monthly coffee mornings are also held at the church.
