Who are we?

We are a lively and friendly church to the west of Macclesfield.

We are an Independent church affiliated to Assemblies of God.

Our Pastor is Geoff Cooper.

What do we do?

Our main Sunday meeting starts at 10.30 am, with praise and worship. The second Sunday in every month is a Communion service where we focus on the meaning of the breaking of bread.

All services are followed with refreshment and a chance to get to know each other.

Tuesday evenings we alternate between Lifegroups and Prayer meetings.  Lifegroups are for people to get to know more about their faith. At the moment we are looking at Fellowship and through the year 2000 we plan to look at Discipleship, Evangelism, Ministry and Worship. Other Lifegroups are designed for people who are asking questions about the claims of Christianity and want to know more.

There is a youth group that meets as well. Every other Saturday there is a childrens' club at church that provides opportunity for fun and also to hear how God can move in their life.

Prayer meetings are an opportunity for us to pray for each other, our church and community, national and international events.

Where are we?

Earlsway, Macclesfield, Cheshire

When you go out of Macclesfield towards Knutsford, you travel towards Broken Cross on the Chelford Road, go past the Fire Station to the next roundabout. Turn left onto Ivy Road, then after about 100 meters, turn first right onto Earlsway and Calvary Church is then on your right.

There is plenty of car parking space.
