 Our Parish

Tuesday 6th February 2001 - MASS FOR HEALING at 7:00 p.m.

What do we exist for?

As a community to worship God and to live, proclaim and spread His word. Our purpose is that everyone may have the opportunity to realise that God loves us and that, in Jesus Christ, he calls us to a new and eternal life.

What are our aims?

Through the Sacraments, the Scriptures, prayer and charitable works, to develop and strengthen our parish as a loving, caring and welcoming community in which each member can find her or his Christian vocation and live it out.

To prepare and encourage members to help and support one another and the wider community in their varying material and spiritual needs and to work towards establishing Gods Kingdom of peace and justice in our world.

We intend to :

  • Plan to meet the needs of our parish, town and beyond.
  • Establish programmes and processes necessary to educate and prepare clergy and laity, working together to meet those needs.
  • Ensure that the laity deepen their involvement in the liturgical life of the parish.

Clergy: Father Peter Burke, Fr Philip Atkinson, Deacon Michael Ullmann

and your Kingdom come.

Through Christ our Lord,

Amen
