Doug McCaskill has sent us an article proposing that at least some
of Shakespeare's lost years were spent working in Macclesfield.
From the evidence he presents it certainly seems plausible - read
it here. It is certainly well written and worth a read.
Yes? No? Will all the pubs have to be renamed? A large open air
theatre to be built in South Macclesfield instead of industrial
