A good starting place in a search for participatory sport would begin with leisure in the Macclesfield Council pages and the County Council's sports links.

Other useful resources include Where to Fish, and this can be complemented by Prince Albert Angling Society. The Harriers and Athletics Club are well supported in the town.

Try the Macclesfield Golf Club for golfing information and the Macclesfield Tennis Club for the Tennis.
